Health and Care Bill

This Bill puts the new 42 regional Integrated Care Services (ICS) on a statutory basis and is a route to rationing and privatisation of health and social care. It will replace national standards of care, wage and staffing conditions with regional agreements. It places private companies in powerful positions in the Integrated Care Boards, meaning that the private sector is not only in a position to win more contracts but will also be determining the type and level of care provided.

The Bill has passed its Second Reading in Parliament. It is at its vital committee stage that we need to mount the greatest possible pressure. JOIN US!
